About

Hi! I’m Lexi, a New Hampshire born, now New York City based singer, actor, and dancer. Ive had a need to perform ever since I was little and I’m so excited for a future of performing and creating art.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Muhlenberg College with a BA in theater and music composition where I was able to perform in some amazing roles such as Motel Clerk in Miss You Like Hell by Quiara Alegría Hudes, Mary in Erik Ehn’s 16670: The Saint Plays, and as Trixie, Beggar, and the Dance and Fight Captain in The Threepenny Opera. Through my experiences in school I learned what kind of theater I have a passion to be a part of; something that sends an important message and transports the audience into another world that makes them think and feel together. There’s nothing quite like live performance.

I also found a love for stage combat and am certified in Rapier and Dagger, Broadsword, Single Sword, Staff, and Unarmed. I have earned Recommended Passes in all five and am an Actor Combatant with the SAFD. My training has not stopped, and I have continues taking classes and attending workshops. One of my favorite things about stage combat is the community. I have met and trained with some of the most kind and supportive people throughout my stage combat journey.

Singing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember; I always find my way back to it no matter what I do. Music in general is a crucial part of my life, as I am also a composer. My writing is comprised of concert music but I have also composed for a number of plays such as Love & Information and El Tiempo de las Mariposas at Muhlenberg. My main motivation for writing has always been to tell a story, which is also something I love so much about theater.

I rekindled my love for dancing while in high school. Personally, my favorite styles are Jazz and Hip Hop. I have been training in jazz, hip hop, and ballet, and am continuing my training to this day.

Aside from performance I love reading (especially mysteries and paranormal horror), sewing, baking, drawing, and especially coffee. I even worked at Starbucks for a period of time and loved creating and trying new drinks. When I was in school I worked at Muhlenberg’s costume shop; to this day it is my favorite non-performance related job I’ve ever had. I didn’t know how to sew before that job, and now I can construct full garments! Plus my bosses and co-workers were some of the most amazing people. I miss our work study parties and trying the weirdest snacks someone could find. If someone offers you Brussel sprout flavored Lay’s chips, say no; trust me.
